    Sometimes when I sit down to my table with my family, I am flooded with a host of memories. It might be an image of my mother filling the sugar bowl that now sits on my sideboard, or the thoughts of a grandmother I never knew but know so much about, including how much she loved the pink Depression glass that I inherited and use every week. The recipes from my family make their way into our meals in some form, usually changed up with the times, but always part of who we all are.
