I don’t have a go-to podcast. No weekly ritual of tuning in, no saved episodes waiting for me. And I’m okay with that. My days are already full of sound—thoughts, tasks, quiet rituals. I don’t always crave more noise. But if I ever find a podcast that speaks to me, I know I’ll listen with my whole heart. I’ll treat it like a conversation, not just content.
I think that’s why I’ve been slow to commit. Podcasts are intimate. They’re voices in your ear, stories unfolding in real time. And I want that kind of connection to feel real, not rushed. I want to find something that aligns with my rhythm—gentle, thoughtful, maybe even seasonal. Something that feels like tea and reflection, not performance or pressure.
If I do stumble across one or two that resonate, I’ll be the kind of listener who lingers. Who pauses to take notes, who rewinds to hear a phrase again. I’ll probably share it with my community, maybe pair it with a blog post or a reflection prompt. Because when something moves me, I don’t keep it to myself. I turn it into nourishment.
I imagine I’d be drawn to podcasts that explore creativity, emotional wisdom, or intentional living. Maybe something about food rituals, digital storytelling, or quiet leadership. I don’t need flashy guests or viral moments. I need depth. I need presence. I need something that honors the kind of life I’m building.
So no, I’m not listening to any podcasts right now. But I’m listening for one. And when I find it, I’ll know. It’ll feel like a soft yes, like a door opening. And I’ll walk through it with curiosity, gratitude, and the hope of connection.
