Fried Shrimp Recipe
When I make fried shrimp, I like to keep it simple but full of flavor. This is the kind of recipe you can throw together fast, and it always comes out good.
Ingredients
- Shrimp (cleaned and peeled)
- Onion (chopped)
- Garlic (minced)
- salt
- chives
- Imani seasoning
- Cayenne pepper (for heat)
- Cornstarch
- Cooking oil
How I Make It
First, I season the shrimp with Imani seasoning, salt, a little cayenne pepper, and the minced garlic. I let that sit for a few minutes so the flavors can soak in. After that, I sprinkle in some cornstarch — not too much, just enough to give the shrimp a light, crispy coating when it fries.
I heat up some oil in a pan, then add the onions first so they can soften and get a little color. Once the onions smell good, I drop in the shrimp. They cook fast, so I flip them as soon as they start turning golden. When they’re crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, they’re done add the chives on top. Simple and delicious.
Watermelon Ginger Honey Drink (Refreshing and Easy)
This drink is perfect when you want something cold, sweet, and a little spicy from the ginger. It goes great with the fried shrimp too.
Ingredients
- Fresh watermelon
- Ginger (a small piece)
- Honey
- Ice
How I Make It
I blend the watermelon and ginger until everything is nice and smooth. I don’t use too much ginger—just enough to give the drink a little kick. Then I strain it into a glass, add some honey for sweetness, and pour it over ice. It comes out refreshing, bright, and super easy to make.
